Emergencies

The Bookmobile may be off the road during inclement weather or mechanical problems, and should arrive and leave at stated times.

If the Bookmobile is not at its site, if you are interested in having the Bookmobile at your site, or, if you have any comments or concerns, please call: Mobile (201) 706-1870 or Office (201) 547-5666.

BKM2 (Bookmobile 2)

BKM2 (Bookmobile 2) expands the library’s mobile service capacity, allowing us to reach additional neighborhoods, support community events, and maintain service continuity during branch closures or special initiatives. The vehicle also enables pop-up library service, with materials offloaded on site so patrons can browse and check out items directly at the venue. Together with our primary Bookmobile, BKM2 helps ensure flexible, responsive access to library resources across Jersey City.
