Jersey City Free Public Library Bookmobile Campaign for Giving Tuesday
As the season of giving approaches, we at Jersey City Free Public Library are thrilled to join Giving Tuesday on December 3. This Giving Tuesday, we’re excited to launch a campaign to raise $125,000 to expand Bookmobile services throughout Jersey City. Our goal is to enhance access to books and resources for all residents, ensuring everyone in our community can benefit from library offerings. As our city continues to grow, we must adapt and improve our services to meet the needs of our diverse population. With your support, we can create a more reliable and accessible library experience for everyone in Jersey City.

Why We Need a New Bookmobile
A new bookmobile equipped with the latest technology will open up a world of possibilities for our community. Not only will it bring books to underserved areas, but it will also offer:
- Wi-Fi and digital resources for those who don’t have internet access at home.
- Mobile computer stations to help with job applications, resume building, and access to government services.
- Interactive learning tools for children and families, ensuring educational resources are available to all, no matter where they live.
For many, especially those with physical or transportation challenges, the bookmobile is their only means of accessing library services. Whether it’s older adults, people with disabilities, or families without reliable transportation, a new bookmobile ensures everyone in Jersey City has equal access to knowledge, entertainment, and opportunity.
Your support this Giving Tuesday can make a huge difference in bringing a state-of-the-art, fully equipped mobile library to our community. Every dollar brings us closer to providing essential services for thousands of residents who rely on us. Together, let’s keep the wheels of literacy and learning turning.
