Reserve a Public Computer at a Branch

Free to Use Service

The Jersey Cty Free Public Library provides over 175 public computers to support the education and information needs of the community. All our locations offer free access to computers you can use to search our online resources, connect to the internet and use popular software, like Microsoft Office. At some branches, you can even use your Library card to borrow a Chromebook or Hotspot. If you are out of the library district and need to access a computer, we can provide a guest session.

Computer sessions last 45 minutes, but time can be extended if no other patrons are waiting. Ask at the Information/Circulation Desk if you need a longer computer session. Anything saved to the hard drive of a library computer is erased at the end of your session. so please be sure to save your work to removable or cloud storage.

Computer Assistance

Library Staff are available to assist you with signing on to the public computers, accessing the Internet, and printing documents. Please note that while staff can provide basic assistance with general computer tasks, they cannot fill out online forms or navigate within websites for you.

📢 Important Update: The Communipaw Branch Library is closed today. We apologize for the inconvenience.

We are currently experiencing an issue where some patrons with Yahoo email addresses may not receive email notifications from our system, SIRSI. SIRSI is actively working to resolve this problem, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.
