Mission Statement
The Computer Learning Resource Center at the Jersey City Free Public Library – Miller Branch is dedicated to bridging the digital divide by providing accessible and inclusive technology education in a community-centered environment. Our goal is to equip patrons with essential digital skills that empower them to pursue higher education, career advancement, and personal growth. While our staff is here to guide and support patrons in developing their digital literacy, we encourage independent learning through the use of library resources available with registration and a valid Library Card. These resources provide self-paced opportunities for patrons to build confidence and navigate technology on their own. Rooted in our core values of digital equity and a “community first” ethos, we strive to ensure that every individual—regardless of age, background, or skill level—has the opportunity to succeed in today’s digital world.
