National Reading Month with JCFPL

Did you know March was designated as National Reading Month in honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday? During this month Jersey City Free Public Library is the place to celebrate the joy that is reading! A study by the National Endowment for the Arts found that regular book readers are 2.5 times more likely to engage in volunteer work than non-readers. This shows that reading not only enriches individuals but also fosters greater community involvement. At JCFPL we are committed to the lifelong learning of all our patrons. Whether they have just started their journey, or they’re seasoned readers we have resources and programs for you!
