Happy National Video Game Day
Happy National Video Game Day from Jersey City Free Public Library! Did you know that there is research that suggests that video gaming may be associated with better cognitive performance in children? Over the years video gaming has become incredibly popular with an estimated 212 million Americans playing regularly. JCFPL has embraced gaming in several ways. For example, our Miller Branch Library is home to our Teen Center which offers gaming consoles for our teen patrons to utilize. JCFPL also offers entertaining programming like Fun Fridays at Biblioteca Criolla which includes gaming as an activity.
By offering video gaming as an activity JCFPL shows our commitment to putting the community first by providing diverse activity options that take into account the interests of all our patrons.
