Celebrate Earth Day with the JCFPL!
In celebration of Earth Day this year the Jersey City Free Public Library (JCFPL) welcomes you to join us in taking a day to celebrate and advocate for a greener, more sustainable future.
Established in 1970, the first Earth Day was created to increase awareness of environmental issues. Today many celebrate Earth Day by displaying their appreciation for the natural environment in their communities. Our Earth Day activities, which promote the core principles of the holiday highlight JCFPL’s commitment to Community Well-Being.
