Join Us for the Communipaw Ribbon Cutting and Public Opening on September 26
Jersey City Free Public Library is thrilled to announce the opening of our brand new Communipaw Branch Library. Located at 295 Johnston Avenue and designed by the City of Jersey City Division of Architecture, it will bring JCFPL to 11 locations throughout the city. With its grand opening, the Communipaw Branch Library will become a vibrant addition to the Bergen-Lafayette neighborhood by providing valuable resources that promote lifelong learning.
This branch will serve as a next-generation facility with a primary focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM). Positioned as the central hub for innovation within the JCFPL system, it will pioneer STEAM programs that can be extended to other branches in the library network. It will contain a community room with multi-purpose space seating up to 50, a complete audiovisual technology system, maker space, fabrication lab tools, and a media studio.
Please join the JCFPL Community at the ribbon cutting for our new branch on September 26th 11:00 a.m. at 295 Johnston Avenue.
