Children’s Authors and Illustrators Week at JCFPL

Children’s Authors and Illustrators Week is an annual celebration held during the first full week of February. This special week is dedicated to recognizing the creativity and contributions of authors and illustrators who bring stories to life for children.
At Jersey City Free Public Library, we celebrate the Lifelong Learning journey of all our patrons, from those just starting out to those well along the way! That is why we have a vast catalog of children’s books in both physical and digital forms. In addition to our catalog we also host story time programs throughout the JCFPL system designed for encouraging early literacy. You can explore our systemwide calendar here to find a story time program at your local branch!
