JERSEY CITY, N.J. Dec. 18, 2015 – The Marion Branch, 1017 West Side Avenue, of the Jersey City Free Public Library has closed late Friday afternoon on Dec. 18, for lack of water. Consequently, the restroom facilities are not available to the public. The branch would have stayed open until 5 p.m.
A clogged toilet seems to be the culprit, and plumbing repair will be contacted.
As of this time, the Library Administration does not know if the Marion Branch Library will be opened on Saturday, Dec. 19. The branch currently is on extended hours, due to the Main Library being closed for its ongoing renovations, and is open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For the latest on programs, events, and special announcements please follow the Library on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/JerseyCityFreePublicLibrary), Twitter (JCFPL_NJ) or Pinterest (www.pinterest.com/jerseycityPL) at Jersey City Free Public Library.
